Fri, 18 Jan 2008 20:44:26 +0000 http://www.daysies.nu/sims2/index.php/2008/01/08/reinstalled/#comment-17283 if i was a creator or played challenges, i think i'd still be playing today. but i played my game differently than everyone else. even those who played with hacks, still played. i just like my Sims do whatever they want... and i needed to find the hacks that would stop the annoying behavior. i must admit - since i wrote this post - i did download Pescado's FFS hack collection. at least i know he & his minions make sure all the hacks in this collection work together and are compatible with the latest EP. i think i'll actually fire the game up a couple weeks after Free Time is released (which means it won't be until the first of March). sadly, it looks like i'm delaying this on purpose. I don't think if I were making movies or custom content for Sims that I'd even be playing at all so I wonder for those that just play how they are still interested. I remember with Sims 1, I hardly even played with Makin' Magic. I'm sad to see the Sims 2 franchise end- we've made so many advancements with customizing it, we'd have to start all over again with Sims 3. I installed the game in my hubby's laptop which is brand new and pretty high end but it has an Nvidia Go card and the game won't allow smooth edges. It has Vista and the game runs fine on it. I do run the game on windowed mode though but b/c I use it for hack making. Whatever the case, I do hope you come back to simming. ;) Uh-oh… it’s hard to fight that addiction, isn’t it? It was by accident that I found BV at walmart about a week after it was out. I had totally lost track of the release date. Anyway, I like it so far. I've managed to get a sim stuck though. I've been meaning to go back and play him to see if he'll just die there on vacation or what. :) I've actually been playing Sim City 4 a bit. Kinda fun.
